Child Psychology is a subsection of Lifespan Development, which is a special field of psychology. Child Psychology focuses on the development of the individual from the prenatal period until adolescence. The governing body for the discipline of psychology is the American Psychological Association. You can check out their website by clicking on their logo to the left.
